I am seeking participants for a panel I would like to propose entitled “Equitable Sharing” or “Democracy and Sharing” or something of that order. I would like to present an overview of my recent book Equitable Sharing, which argues that central to democracy and to the democratic society the United States purports to be is a principle of equitable sharing that requires all the benefits and detriments of social life to be fairly distributed among all society’s members. Participants could either comment on the book or present a paper relating to the theme of the panel.
