SEALS Covid Policy

For the upcoming SEALS meeting, SEALS has adopted the following policies regarding Covid-19:

(1) SEALS attendees are expected to comply with all federal, state, and local requirements regarding Covid-19.

(2) Unless the Covid-19 situation worsens, or federal, state or local laws require it, SEALS is not requiring attendees to wear masks at its events. However, since SEALS values community, we ask SEALS attendees to be sensitive to others’ needs by respecting their wishes in terms of masking and bringing masks in case they are requested.

(3) At registration, we asked everyone to affirm that they and their guests would not attend SEALS if they have tested positive immediately (5 days) prior to the meeting, of it they have been experiencing symptoms of COVID, or have been in contact with someone who has COVID. Similar affirmations will be required if testing positive during the meeting, and attendees and guests are required to notify SEALS if testing positive within 10 days after the meeting.
