Mission Statement
The Program Advisory Committee advises the Executive Director on an as-needed basis regarding panel proposals and other program issues that may benefit from broad and diverse viewpoint.

2025 Annual Report
The Committee continues to serve as a resource for the Executive Director on an as-needed basis. It is charged with advising him on panel proposals and other issues regarding the program on which he would like broader and more diverse viewpoints. Russ did not consult with the committee this year on any issue.

The Committee continues to serve as a resource for the Executive Director on an as-needed basis. It is charged with advising him on panel proposals and other issues regarding the program on which he would like broader and more diverse viewpoints. Russ did not call on the committee to put out any fires this year.
2023 Annual Report
The Committee continues to serve as a resource for the Executive Director on an as-needed basis. It is charged with advising him on panel proposals and other issues regarding the program on which he would like broader and more diverse viewpoints. Committee input was not needed for the 2022 meeting. In advance of the 2023 meeting, the Executive Director has sought the committee’s advice regarding appropriate action to be taken in light of attempts by the government of Florida, our host state for the next several years, to stifle academic freedom and impede the efforts of law schools to address matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Discussions of this topic are ongoing and will continue at a committee meeting at SEALS 2023.
