As you perhaps have heard, our colleague Dan Markel passed away on Saturday. To commemorate Dan’s life and work, a gathering will be held during the upcoming SEALs Conference, in Amelia Island, Florida. The event will take place on Monday, August 4, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., shortly after the discussion group in which Dan was to participate is scheduled, in the conference hotel.  Precise location to be determined. We are working to finalize the 2014 SEALS schedule and need your help.  Please look at the conference program (http://sealslawschools.org/submissions/program/programwp.asp) and if you are participating, make sure that all of your information is listed correctly.  If you are on multiple panels, please check each one, as different people enter information.  Finally, if anything else on the panel looks incorrect, please let us know. Please email Jeff Hirsch at jmhirsch@email.unc.edu with any updates by Tuesday, May 26.
